QUIDDELBACHER HÖHE
Construction of the Nurburgring’s started in 1925 and over the next two years more than 2,500 men worked on the circuit, many of them living in specially-built huts at Quiddelbacher Höhe. Such was the demand for work in the area that swathes of men turned up for work in their Sunday best, only to be given a shovel on arrival.
