'Braddan Oak Tree' Limited Edition Art Print
The enormous oak tree at Braddan became the star of the 2018 Superstock race after Peter Hickman over-braked on the left hander going into the section. As a result, the four-time TT winner went to the right of the tree and had to perform an elaborate three-point-turn on his BMW S 1000 RR and lost around ten to 15 sec-onds in the process. But that didn’t phase Hickman who put in the race of his life. He said: “I put my head down and saw that the times were coming down. I was point-to-point everywhere. It's the hardest I have ever ridden…” Hickman won the race by almost five seconds ahead of Michael Dunlop, in spite of semi-circumnavigating a giant oak tree.
