'Sulby' Limited Edition Art print

The story:
David Hickman hit a seagull at Sulby Straight riding his TZ Yamaha during the 250cc practice session at the 1977 Manx Grand Prix. The gull smashed Hickman’s windscreen but the Lincolnshire rider was not defeated: he managed to stay on his machine. Hickman went on to win the 250cc race the following week and - ten years later - father TT star Peter Hickman.
But that’s not the only seagull incident: in pre war TTs the first race was marked with a maroon launched into the air when the first man set off. But during one race in the mid 1930s the gunpowder-fuelled firework hit an unsuspecting seagull, which was blasted out of the sky.
