This is a rare opportunity to own the one-off aluminium plates used to print Rachael Clegg’s Thrill of it Book. The plates form part of the lithographic printing process whereby each page of the book is printed with four colours, with each colour corresponding with an individual plate in cyan, magenta, yellow and black (CMYK). These are totally unique, complete with printing ink and marks of the printing process. There is only one cyan, one yellow, one magenta and one black plate per image (1/1) and are beautiful objects in their own right. The frame is a chunky solid wood open grain frame, handmade in Sheffield and all aluminium plates come with the story text and a copy of Rachael Clegg’s The Thrill of It photobook (RRP £105). The story:

Peter Hickman’s 2023 TT was one riddled with suspension issues on the FHO Racing BMW Superbike. The team changed the suspension set-up on a daily basis until finally hitting the sweet spot on the morning of the Senior, when Hickman confirmed the bike was ready during the warm-up lap. He took four wins that week, taking his career total to 13. Hickman’s fastest lap average of the race (lap two) was 135.507 mph, reaching more than 200mph on Sulby Straight. This puts the splattered flies on this Superbike among the fastest travelling insects in the world.
