Bishopscourt tells the story of American rider Pat Hennen, who crashed at Bishopscourt on the last lap of a neck and neck battle against Ulster boy Tom Herron in the 1978 Senior. By tragic coincidence, Hennen had just set a new lap record of 113.83mph.
